It all started with a simple mission: get in, grab the snacks, and get out. Simple, right? Not when you're shopping with Grandma. 😅

I made a fatal mistake—I told her we’d be quick. Grandma took that as a challenge. She grabbed a shopping cart like a race car driver at the starting line. 🏎️💨 The wheels wobbled, the metal squeaked, and off she went.

“Grandma, we only need chips and soda,” I reminded her.

She waved me off. “They’ve got a sale on canned beans! Do you know how rare that is?” 🤨

I did not. Nor did I care. 🙄

Somehow, in the span of ten minutes, our cart had gone from a simple snack run to looking like we were prepping for an apocalypse. 🛒😵 Fifty cans of beans, a watermelon the size of a toddler, and enough paper towels to wrap the moon. 🌍🧻

“Just in case,” she said. “You never know.” 🤷‍♀️

🚨 The Real Challenge: The Checkout Lane

The line was long. Grandma, an impatient warrior, made her move. 😤

“I’ll open another lane myself if I have to,” she mumbled, adjusting her glasses dramatically. 🤓

Just as she was about to start a grocery store rebellion, the cashier waved us over. Finally, we were free! Or so I thought… 😌

At the last moment, as the cashier scanned the final item, Grandma gasped. “WAIT! I forgot the coupons!” 😱

The line behind us groaned. A baby started crying. A man muttered something about never leaving his house again. 🥲

Grandma dug through her purse like a detective on a mission—tissues, a screwdriver, a single sock. 👀⏳ Time slowed. Planets aligned. I aged ten years. 😵‍💫

Then, finally, she found them. A grand total of 25 cents in savings. 😐

“Worth it,” she declared, holding up the receipt like a victory trophy. 🏆
